When the memory block return processing has finished, the memory pool鈥檚 waiting task queue is checked. If there
are tasks waiting, a check is made whether a memory block of the size requested by the task at the top of the queue
can be acquired. If it can, an appropriate memory block is assigned to the task and the task is removed from the
waiting queue and released from the waiting state. This processing is then repeated until the bottom of the queue is
reached or a task is unable to acquire a memory block.

Obtaining variable-length memory pool information
Variable-length memory pool information such as the presence or absence of a waiting task can be obtained by
using the service calls ref_mpl and iref_mpl. For details of each service call, refer to
CHAPTER 13.
